Amakara Sushi & Bar Moves To New Location In Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — A popular Dublin sushi restaurant has moved to a new location. Amakara, which means "sweet and spicy" in Japanese, moved from 7222 Regional St. to 7568 Dublin Blvd. The eatery can be found on the first floor of the Aster residential complex.

The restaurant has been in Dublin since 2008 and serves lunch, dinner and cocktails. Although an opening day has yet to be announced, Amakara’s last day in their original location was June 15, according to the restaurant’s Instagram.

The Coach’s Grille, a family sports restaurant, will eventually open in the building formerly occupied by Amakara. An exact opening date is not yet known and renovations are underway, according to city officials.
