BART Sunday Service To SF From Tri-Valley Returns

Riders heading to San Francisco from the Dublin/Pleasanton station on Sundays will no longer have to transfer in Oakland.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — Bay Area Rapid Transit will once more offering Sunday service into San Francisco from the Dublin/Pleasanton station, starting Sunday, Feb. 16.

BART announced Monday that Dublin/Pleasanton Blue Line trains will stop at Montgomery or Daly City stations, depending on the time of day and whether there is single-tracking. Anyone heading farther south may transfer to a Yellow Line train at Montgomery Street.

The first Blue Line train from Dublin/Pleasanton will leave at 7:57 a.m., to Daly City.

Trains will arrive every 24 minutes, up from 20 minutes, BART said. This is expected to make it easier for trains to stay on schedule, should there be any service delays.
