Camp Parks Controlled Burns Canceled Amid 'Unpredictable Weather'

DUBLIN, CA — A day after controlled burns were scheduled to begin at Camp Parks in Dublin, firefighters said the burns have been called off.

Alameda County Fire Department canceled the burns due to "unpredictable weather," according to the city of Dublin. The burns were scheduled to take place through June 18.

"The safety of residents, businesses, and crews is always the number one priority," the fire department said in a statement.
