Training burns are carefully planned, monitored, and must meet strict criteria of fuel conditions, weather parameters, smoke management, and fire safety guidelines.  When all conditions are met, firefighters burn while monitoring the set criteria, fire behavior, and designated fire control lines.  This low intensity fire in the natural environments provide safe vegetation fire trainings.

ACFD will be monitoring the burn and will be on high alert to mitigate any possible risk to the residents of Dublin and San Ramon.
