Cooling Center To Open This Weekend In Dublin

Find out when and where Dublin residents can get some reprieve from the heat amid the excessive heat warning.

DUBLIN, CA — The City of Dublin will open a cooling center Friday through Sunday as much of the Bay Area grapples with an excessive heat warning.

The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Dublin Senior Center (7600 Amador Valley Blvd.).

There will be a TV, reference computers, books and a puzzle table. Masks are required for all and temperature checks will be required upon entry.

Residents may also consider taking a dip in the pool at The Wave from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Get tickets here.
