Crash Shuts Down Traffic On Tassajara Road In Dublin
A power pole was struck by a Ford Mustang, causing serious injuries to the male driver.
DUBLIN, CA — Tassajara Road was reopened Friday evening following a crash that seriously injured a driver and shut down the road for several hours near Palisades Drive.
The solo-vehicle crash into a power pole was reported Friday shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Tassajara Road, just north of Palisades Drive.
The crash remains under investigation, but Dublin Police Services Capt. Nate Schmidt said a Ford Mustang struck the pole, causing major injuries to the male driver. He was transported to Eden Medical Center; an update on his condition is unknown. No other injuries were reported.

PG&E crews were called to repair the power pole. Tassajara Road was expected to remain closed in both directions for several hours while crews made repairs, and ultimately reopened by 9:44 p.m.
