Kaylin & Hobbs will be giving away samples & selling its pickled fare at The Original Farmers Market Plaza in LA.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Pucker up!

Modeled after old-school delis, commonly found in Manhattan's Lower East Side, the Kaylin & Hobbs shop serves pickles ranging from vinegar-brined to fermented varieties, with flavors including Kosher Dill, Mustard, Horseradish and Jalapeño. Kaylin & Hobbs pickles, with other flavors like Horseradish, Honey Mustard and good, old-fashioned Kosher Dill, are sold straight from pails — old-school and deli-style.
The company was founded in Canada a few years ago by Scott Kaylin, a born-and-bred New Yorker, and Chris Hobbs, a Toronto native, after the pair relocated to Vancouver and struggled to find pucker-worthy, New York-style pickles on the West Coast.

The first Kaylin & Hobbs store opened in 2017 at the Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver, followed in 2018 by an outpost at Lonsdale Quay Market. The product also is distributed to grocers, breweries and restaurants across Canada — and now is the "official side pickle" on sandwiches at Magee’s Kitchen, another Farmers Market shop.
