Dense Fog Advisory in Tri-Valley Extended

TRI-VALLEY, CA — The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for the San Francisco Bay Area.

Originally schedules to end at 8 a.m., it has been extended to 9 a.m.

Thick fog has been reported around the Tri-Valley.

It's also delayed some flights. SFO is reporting delays averaging 90 minutes. If you have a flight or if you're picking up someone, check the status of the flight with your airline.

If you commute to the South Bay for work, you won;t escape the fog there, either.

There's no word on the cause of a fatal accident in Albany this morning, so it's unknown if weather played a role.
