EAST BAY, CA — Dry conditions with mild temperatures are forecast through Tuesday afternoon, but patchy dense fog is likely during the night and early morning hours.
Fog blanketed a good portion of the Bay Area and parts of the Central California coast Monday morning. The gloomy weather caused 113 flights to be delayed and 15 to be canceled at San Francisco International Airport on Monday morning, according to airport officials. Many airports throughout the region reported visibilities down to a quarter mile or less.
The National Weather Service said the area will likely see a repeat Monday night and into Tuesday morning, with fog impacting the area valleys and locations near sea level.
