
A magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck near San Ramon Sunday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake was reported around 3:30 p.m.
Residents around the area reported feeling the quake, including in Livermore, Milpitas, Fremont, Dublin, Pleasanton, Danville and Castro Valley.
Two smaller quakes were reported in the area earlier in the day, according to USGS. The East Bay was also struck by a series of earthquakes earlier this week.
