Dublin To Be Under Excessive Heat Watch

Temperatures could reach a scorching 108 degrees this weekend as a heat wave sweeps through much of the inland Bay Area.

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin — like much of Northern California — is set to be under an excessive heat watch from noon Friday to 7 p.m. Sunday, with record-high temperatures possible.

Temps are expected to reach 95 to 108 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The hottest temperatures will likely hit over the weekend.

Officials warn that residents should be wary of heat exhaustion or heat stroke after spending prolonged time outdoors. People are especially vulnerable if they must spend a lot of time outside, don't have air conditioning, are elderly, are a young child or have chronic ailments, NWS wrote.
