Dublin Cheerleading Program To Compete In Prestigious Competition

The team is made up of 55 cheerleaders from Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Castro Valley, San Ramon, and Danville.

DUBLIN, CA — Cheerleaders from a popular Dublin cheerleading program have been selected to compete in a prestigious national cheerleading competition. California Spirit Elite, a training facility based in Dublin, will wrap their season in may at the D2 Summit held in Walt Disney World Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The team, which is made up of 55 cheerleaders from Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Castro Valley, San Ramon, and Danville, will compete on May 11 to 13 against close to 800 teams from across the United States.

"Teams competing at The D2 Summit must receive a bid at a prior competition to be eligible to
participate," says Brian Elza, General Manager and Vice President of Sales for Varsity All Star, which is
comprised of multiple all-star brands under the Varsity Spirit umbrella. "That’s what makes The D2
Summit so rewarding for the competitors. If they don’t climb their way to the top throughout their
season, they won’t make it to The Summit."
