DUBLIN, CA — Public health officials have pumped the breaks on trick-or-treating this year, but the city of Dublin has come up with a socially distant workaround.

A drive-in movie will begin at dusk on Oct. 31 in the Dublin Iceland Parking Lot (7212 San Ramon Road), the city said. The iconic Halloween classic "Hocus Pocus," rated PG, will be screened.

Guests are urged to don their costume and decorate their car. Treats including a pumpkin will be provided to each child, courtesy of Lucky's, the city said.
