Dublin Man Shot After Robbery: Police
The man tried to retrieve his stolen items when he was shot, police said. Detectives are investigating the incident.
DUBLIN, CA — A Dublin man was shot Wednesday night after trying to retrieve his items following a robbery, police said.
The 60-year-old man underwent surgery and is expected to recover, Dublin Police Services announced. He is in stable condition and remains hospitalized.
The victim parked his car at his home in the area of Clifden Court when he was approached by three males who demanded he hand over his belongings, police said. They assaulted him, robbed him and ran to a nearby car.

The victim chased them and tried to get his items back, police said. One of the unknown males shot him before they fled the scene.
Patrolling officers searched the area for the car and males to no avail.
