Dublin Police ID Pedestrian Fatally Struck Earlier This Month
A 66-year-old Dublin resident was fatally struck by a vehicle as he was crossing the street, police said.
DUBLIN, CA — The name of a pedestrian killed in a collision earlier this month in Dublin is Amaduddin Said Rasuli, police said Friday.
Officers responded at 9:10 a.m. on June 7 to Dublin Boulevard and Hansen Drive after someone reported that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
Rasuli, 66, of Dublin, was going north across Dublin Boulevard near the intersection with Hansen Drive. A vehicle turning east onto Dublin Boulevard from Hansen Drive struck him, according to police.

Officers and paramedics from the Alameda County Fire Department tried to save Rasuli's life, but he died. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
