Dublin To Raise Progress Flag For LGBTQ+ Pride
The community is invited to join the ceremony Wednesday.
DUBLIN, CA ? The City of Dublin will have a flag-raising ceremony Wednesday evening at 5:30 in honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the city said. The Progress Pride Flag will go up in front of the Dublin Civic Center at 100 Civic Plaza.
City council designated June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month at its meeting on May 17.
?It recognizes the importance of fostering acceptance for all residents and preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,? the city said. ?The Progress Pride flag includes black and brown stripes for persons of color, and baby blue, pink and white to represent transgender individuals.?

To spread awareness and showcase diversity, LGBTQ+ Day is June 16 at the farmers market, the city said.
