Cancelled: Dublin's St. Patrick's Day 2020: Parade, Festival, Run

The City of Dublin announced March 9 that the event would be called off this year.

DUBLIN, CA — The East Bay community is invited to participate the City of Dublin's 37th annual St. Patrick's Day festivities. The weekend kicks off with the pancake breakfast is hosted by the Alameda County Firefighters Local 55 on Saturday, March 14, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Fire Station #16, which is located at 7494 Donohue Drive. Tickets are $5 per person and includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. All proceeds benefit the Alameda County Firefighters Association-Local 55 Charity Fund, which supports local non-profit and community-based organizations.

The parade, hosted by the Dublin Lion's Club, on Saturday, March 14 will kick off at 9:30 a.m. The parade, which is one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the Bay Area, has drawn up to 80,000 people and featured floats, bands and local groups. Parade Route: Amador Plaza to Dublin Boulevard to Village Parkway to Amador Valley Boulevard, stopping at Donohue Drive.

The parade will be followed by the popular St. Patrick's Day Festival, which is hosted by the City of Dublin on Saturday and Sunday, March 14, 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dublin Civic Center, located at 100 Civic Plaza. The event will feature a carnival, Irish food and drink, more than 200 vendors, a pop-up Irish tea cottage, live music and performances, the city said.

The weekend will wrap up with the Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk hosted by the City of Dublin on Sunday, March 15. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. in front of 6815 Dublin Blvd. Thousands are expected to participate. Register here.
