Equipment Problem Blamed For Dublin/Pleasanton BART Delay
The San Francisco line in the Dublin/Pleasanton direction is impacted.
DUBLIN, CA — A major delay exists on BART Wednesday evening because of an equipment problem on a train, BART officials said.
As of 5:52 p.m., the delay was on the San Francisco line in the Dublin/Pleasanton direction.
Earlier Wednesday, a person was struck by a BART train at Bay Fair station in San Leandro. The station was closed due to the incident, but as of 4:54 p.m. the station at 15242 Hesperian Blvd. was open again.

The person hit by the train is alive and has been taken to a hospital, according to BART officials, who said the train strike appeared to be accidental.
BART police are investigating the collision, BART officials said.
