Girl Scouts Crossroads Service Unit Is Out And About
The Girl Scouts Crossroads Service Unit is holding Parent Information Meetings for Dublin, Pleasanton, and Sunol

Girl Scouts donned their uniforms at a local run to raise awareness about the Girl Scouts program at their school and in the Crossroads Service Unit (serving Dublin, Pleasanton, and Sunol).
On their website Girl Scouts of Northern California states that "joining Girl Scouts is a great way to build confidence, try new things, meet new friends, explore the outdoors, and discover her inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-Taker, Leader)â„¢".

All Crossroads Girl Scouts, their families and friends, recently participated in a 'Welcome Back for S’more 2018 Event' at Shannon Park where they enjoyed crafts, activities, s’mores, and more.

A major upcoming event for the Girl Scouts is Golden Gate Bridging which is the biggest event of the year for Girl Scouts of Northern California. According to their website "7,000 girls and their fellow Girl Scout sisters from across the country cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge as they transition from Juniors to Cadettes. The bridging is followed by a party on Crissy Field with music, fun activity booths, and the largest friendship circle this side of the Mississippi. Participating in this special event is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a great introduction to older girl programs and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience."

Assemblywoman Catherine Baker also highlighted an event on her Facebook page this week that involved the Girl Scouts. Her comments were "Great turnout at our Self-Defense Workshop this morning. Thank you to the CHP - Dublin and Girl Scouts of Northern California for partnering with us on this helpful event!"
