"We don't know exactly how this happened to me, but my friends at the shelter are helping me to heal," the former Livermore stray "says."

DUBLIN, CA – "Eli," a male, Siberian Husky-mix, is available for adoption at the East County Animal Shelter in Dublin after being found with extensive burns to its back and rescued from the streets of Livermore in mid-March.
"I was found with extensive burn injuries to my back. We don't know exactly how this happened to me, but my friends at the shelter are helping me to heal," Eli "says" in his adoption bio. "I still have a little ways to go, but I’m done with my treatments, and I'm ready to start looking for a new forever home!
"I'm a happy, fun-loving guy, who loves belly rubs (my very favorite thing!), going for walks, chasing tennis balls, and may even enjoy swimming too! I already know some basic skills, such as 'sit,' 'down,' and I'm working on 'roll over.'"
