Heat Advisory Issued For Tri-Valley
Temperatures are expected to peak on Wednesday with highs up to 105.
EAST BAY, CA — A heat advisory was issued Tuesday by the National Weather Service, warning residents of high temperatures across the East Bay. The advisory begins Wednesday at 11 a.m. and extends through 8 p.m. Thursday. Temperatures are expected to peak on Wednesday with highs reaching up to 105 in the Tri-Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
Onshore flow and a shallow marine layer will keep temperatures in coastal areas cooler, NWS officials said.
A cool-down is forecast to begin on Friday as low atmospheric pressure approaches the Pacific Northwest.
