I-580 And I-680 Lanes Open Following Morning Tri-Valley Crashes

DUBLIN, CA — Two separate crashes on Tri-Valley freeways Thursday morning jammed traffic for morning commuters, although no serious injuries are reported. A crash reported around 8:30 a.m. on northbound I-680 at Alcosta Blvd. continues to back traffic up to the I-580 interchange. Authorities say report motorists can expect delays of approximately 20 minutes. No further details were immediately available.

The separate crash involving a fuel tanker and Honda Civic was reported just after 8 a.m. on westbound I-580 at the Grant Line Road offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported in the crash and lanes have reopened, the CHP reported.
