More Than 100 Trees Fall In Dublin Tuesday: City
Though more than 100 trees fell, no injuries or major outages were reported. All roads are clear as of Thursday morning.

DUBLIN, CA ? Dublin emergency crews responded to 40 calls and 30 more reports on the ?Fix It Dublin? app Tuesday, when at least 100 trees fell down in the city, city spokesperson Shari Jackman told Patch.
While no injuries were reported to residents and staff, multiple fences in city parks and trails were damaged.
All roads are open in Dublin as of Thursday morning, though residents are advised to avoid going near any downed trees. Eastbound Central Parkway was closed for a little while Tuesday morning due to a downed tree in the roadway. Eastbound Dublin Boulevard from Civic Plaza to Dougherty Road was also closed around noon after a 40-foot redwood tree fell across all eastbound lanes near the Dublin Sports Grounds.

The city called in an arborist subcontractor and extended work hours for existing crews. Streets and sidewalks should be clear by March 17 and parks should be clear by March 24, Jackman said. A number of streets will be closed Saturday for the St. Patrick?s Day Parade, and Sunday for the Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk.
No major disruptions were reported in Dublin schools, though one school temporarily lost its internet and phone service, according to DUSD spokesperson Chip Dehnert. A full tree fell near an elementary school site, and a number of downed tree branches were reported throughout the schools.

Unlike neighboring Danville, Pleasanton and Livermore, Dublin did not experience any major power outages.
