Patelco CU & Habitat for Humanity Team Up For Financial Education

On February 19, Patelco Credit Union held its second financial education workshop in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

On February 19, Patelco Credit Union opened the doors of its Dublin, California, headquarters to the community for the second installment of its financial education workshop series in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

In attendance were several Patelco members eager to share their individual journeys to financial wellness, ask questions, and discuss best practices for building credit for strong financial futures. This experience in a small group setting not only encouraged participants to share their unique stories in an empowering space, but also allowed experts from Patelco to better understand the trials facing the community while demonstrating their dedication. Patelco is proud to support members of the East Bay community and will continue to invest in their financial wellness through innovation, education and empowerment.

Patelco is excited to roll out the next series of financial education classes, covering topics important to the community such as tackling debt, first-time home ownership, teen & children’s financial health, and more:

3/18 – 5:30-7pm Budgeting for Success, Oakland Branch
4/18- 10-11:30am Teen & Children’s financial activities, Dublin HQ
4/22- 6-7:30pm Investing for the Future, Dublin HQ
5/21 – 6-7:30pm Paying Off Debt, San Jose Almaden Branch
6/18 – 5:30-7pm Financial Goals, Oakland Branch
4/4 9am-5pm First Time Home Buyers Class, Sports Basement, Sunnyvale
