Dublin Pedestrian Killed In Crash
Dublin police are investigating the Monday morning crash and ask witnesses to contact police.

DUBLIN, CA — A 66-year-old Dublin man was killed Monday morning after a car hit him, police announced.
He was crossing Dublin Boulevard and headed northbound near the Hansen Drive intersection when he was struck around 9:10 a.m. The car was turning eastbound onto Dublin Boulevard from Hansen Drive, Dublin Police Services said in a statement.
Police and Alameda County Fire Department paramedics tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pedestrian's name has not been released as officials seek to notify his family.
The driver remained on scene and has cooperated with officers, police said. Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to have played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
