Power Outage Affects Thousands In Dublin

The outage was first reported at 6:38 p.m. Wednesday.

DUBLIN, CA — Approximately 3,000 utility customers in the Dublin were at least briefly without power Wednesday evening as an outage struck the region. Pacific Gas & Electric reported on their outage map that the outage began at 6:38 p.m.

The outage was expected to last about three hours, according to PG&E.

PG&E estimated all the power will be restored by about 9:45 p.m. As of 8:25 p.m., power had been resorted to all but 375 customers.

The agency said an "assessment crew" was sent to the scene to determine the cause, but information related to that was not immediately available.
