'Project Wag' Will Help Transform Dog Play Area At Dublin Shelter
Donations are needed to help install artificial grass and cement seating areas at the busy East County Animal Shelter.

DUBLIN, CA — An online fundraiser hosted by Tri-Valley Animal Rescue will help transform a muddy pet play area at the East County Animal Shelter in Dublin. The bad weather has turned a once welcoming grass play area into a muddy mess for both dogs and the volunteers who help get them exercise.
TVAR recently launched the "Project Wag" fundraiser and hopes to raise enough money to install pet-friendly artificial grass and cement seating areas. The minor renovation also allow for better parasite control and water conservation, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
The busy shelter houses stray animals from Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and unincorporated Alameda County. To donate click here.
