Dear Editor:

Gabi Blackman has been a Dublin resident for over 13 years and has 3 children attending Dublin public schools. I have known Gabi for over 4 years. As a longterm volunteer in Dublin schools and as a fellow parent with 20+ years of experience in architectural industry (with a specialization in education institutions), she brings the best combination of skills and passion to guide Dublin schools forward.

She has been a great voice for our community, long-term advocate of 2nd high school and strong proponent of many measures to address overcrowding and budget challenges. She is not motivated by title or power, but has been a warrior who works diligently to find balanced solutions. She has actively participated in dozens of school board meetings to listen and share input. She has also been part of several past and current committees.
