Check the road conditions before you head out.
Recent storms have buried Truckee and Tahoe under massive amounts of snow and forced officials to close I-80. Forecasters are predicting more snow through Friday.
Thousands from around the East Bay hope to head to the mountains this weekend to enjoy the piles of fresh powder but drivers are urged to check the road conditions before hitting the road.
