ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Alameda County is calling on residents to stay inside as poor air quality continues to impact the Bay Area.

Air quality is expected to range from "unhealthy" to "very unhealthy" on the Air Quality Index over much of the county today, Alameda County said in an alert sent to residents.

Smoke from wildfires burning across the state is impacting NorCal air quality.
