'Training Burn' At Camp Parks In Dublin
Smoke from the fire may be seen throughout the Tri-Valley area.

DUBLIN, CA — Firefighters from will be conducting a training and vegetation management burn this week at Camp Parks in Dublin. The training is scheduled to run from approximately 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
Officials say prescribed burns help reduce the amount of fuel and encourages the growth of native plants and flowers while providing training for firefighters.
