Tri-Valley Voters: Meet Your Alameda County Supervisor Candidates
Two men are vying to represent the region as Alameda County District 1 Supervisor. See how they responded to Patch's candidate Q&A.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — Election Day is just around the corner and voters in Dublin, Fremont, Livermore, Pleasanton and eastern unincorporated Alameda County will decide who represents the region for the next four years.
Alameda County District 1 Supervisor Scott Haggerty announced last summer that he would not seek re-election after 24 years of service to the community, making way for new blood.
Vinnie Bacon, Fremont city councilmember, and David Haubert, mayor of Dublin, were the top two vote-getters in March's primary, besting state senator Bob Wieckowski of Fremont and Dublin city councilmember Melissa Hernandez, who has since launched a bid to replace Haubert as mayor of Dublin.
