Widower of DUSD Trustee Hopes to Fill Empty Dublin Board Seat
This is the easiest vote for Dublin in recent years.

Our Dublin Tragedy can have an encouraging ending! #DublinStrong
TONIGHT, Tuesday, May 18 - at a special school board meeting, Widower William Kuo, an immigrant to the United States and active Dublin (22-year) resident, will apply to complete the term of his wife Catherine Kuo, DUSD Board Trustee, after her tragic death while volunteering at one of our schools.
William has unselfishly given his time to Dublin as a volunteer: Dublin Little League coach, chaperone for field trips, and also sharing his data-driven charts regarding our schools. William is fortunate enough to have a flexible job while his Jr. High and High school-age children support his wish to continue their mother’s legacy. William is known to residents for reasoned and well-researched decisions, knowledge of music & the arts, science, business, local issues, surfing, and baseball!

At Catherine’s well-attended candlelight vigil William asked the Dublin community to stay engaged. Mr. Kuo walks the talk; He knows better than any potential applicant the extent of Catherine’s views, as he's been by her side every step of the way.
The board must remember tonight that it was Catherine and her views which Area 3 voted into office. This should be an easy vote for our school board. We can't wait to see Mr. Kuo advocating for all of our students.
