1 Jailed, 1 Hospitalized In Cloverdale Stabbing: Sheriff's Office
The stabbing happened near the 1st Street Bridge, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

CLOVERDALE, CA — Deputies arrested a man in connection with stabbing another man Sunday in Cloverdale, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
Dispatchers received a 911 call at 7:50 p.m. Sunday about a man who'd just been stabbed near the 1st Street Bridge in Cloverdale, the sheriff's office said.
The victim was being treated by emergency medical personnel when deputies got to the scene.

Deputies learned the victim and suspect were in a physical fight that ended with the suspect stabbing the victim on the left side of his body, sheriff's officials said.
The suspect — identified as 29-year-old Ramon Anthony Woods, a transient in Cloverdale — was seen running away with a knife, officials said.

Deputies soon found Woods walking in the 300 block of North Cloverdale Boulevard and detained and searched him.
Woods was found in possession of a methamphetamine pipe and a file with a pointed tip; it was not immediately clear if Woods used the file or a knife to stab the victim, according to the sheriff's office.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
As for Woods, he was booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of Post-Release Community Supervision. He was being held in lieu of $30,000 bail Monday.
