2 Storm-Related Deaths Reported In Sonoma County
The bodies were recovered just over 12 hours apart ? Thursday morning and Wednesday.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA ? Two people died in under 24 hours in Sonoma County in what authorities believe were storm-related circumstances.
The first fatality was discovered shortly after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when Sonoma County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 7700 block of Franz Valley Road. A man's body was stuck inside a culvert along the sparsely populated roadway near the Sonoma/Napa county line.
Personnel from Northern Sonoma County Fire District pulled his body from the culvert.

The Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office was working to notify his next of kin before releasing his name.

A second male body was recovered early Thursday morning from the 5800 block of Hall Road in unincorporated Santa Rosa, the sheriff's office said. Deputies responded to the location around 7 a.m. and were assisted by personnel with the Sonoma County Fire District and the California National Guard.

The sheriff's office was still working to identify the victim and notify his family before releasing his name.
"We appreciate the assistance of the National Guard and our partners at both fire agencies," the sheriff's office said.
