Crews Contain Knights Fire In Sonoma County

SONOMA COUNTY, CA ? A vegetation fire broke out Monday afternoon in the Geyserville area of Sonoma County, charring 5 acres.

The Knights Fire was reported around 1:15 p.m. Monday at 12470 state Highway 128 in Knights Valley and was contained as of 4 p.m., authorities said.

There was no immediate word on whether structures were threatened during the blaze.

"Resources will be in the area putting out hot spots for several hours," Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit said on Twitter.
