Don't Miss Chance To Dine At Summer Cafe At Santa Rosa Jr College

The Culinary Café & Bakery serves delectable menus prepared, cooked and served by students. But it won't be open long ... so stop by soon.

SANTA ROSA, CA – Culinary students at Santa Rosa Junior College are hard at work at the Culinary Café and Bakery during the summer session, preparing and serving seasonal lunch menus and also selling freshly baked pastries, cookies and artisan breads made by students in the school's Baking and Pastry Program.

The Café at the B. Robert Burdo Culinary Arts Center is open to the public Wednesdays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. serving salads, soups, sandwiches, pizzas, entrees and desserts -- mostly organic and locally sourced when possible -- along with Russian River Valley wines produced by SRJC’s Shone Farm Winery.

Recent menu highlights included: stone-hearth pizza with duck confit, goat cheese, pesto and reduced balsamic; seafood pasta with shrimp, crawfish tails, calamari, tuna, tomato, garlic, white wine, chives and cream; and a grass-fed beef burger with Jack cheese, bacon jam, red onion, tomato, and lettuce on a soft roll.
