Calistoga Road was closed in both directions at the scene of the fatal incident, the California Highway Patrol said.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A Santa Rosa man has been identified as the driver who died Tuesday morning in a rollover crash in an unincorporated area of Sonoma County northeast of Santa Rosa.
The CHP's preliminary investigation indicated that shortly after 7 a.m., the man was driving a white GMC Canyon pickup truck southbound on Calistoga, north of Saint Helena Road, and lost control of the truck when he reached a curve in the road, CHP Officer David deRutte said.
The truck went off the right side of the road and collided with a large tree.
