Crews Save Home From Dutcher Fire In Cloverdale: Cal Fire

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Crews contained a wildfire Wednesday in Cloverdale to 2.5 acres and saved a home that was immediately threatened by the fire, Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit said.
The Dutcher Fire was reported around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday near the 24000 block of Dutcher Creek Road; by 6:30 p.m., the blaze was 2 acres with multiple spot fires burning and one structure on fire, the agency said on Twitter.
Around 10 p.m., Cal Fire said the fire was contained to 2.5 acres.

"Rapid response and aggressive firefighting, firefighters were able to save a residence immediately threatened by the fire," Cal Fire LNU said. "This is a good reminder that fire season is here and defensible space can make a difference."
It was not immediately clear if Wednesday's fire was related to a brush fire Monday in the 24000 block of Dutcher Creek Road.
