Healdsburg Bicyclist Dies From Hit-And-Run Injuries: CHP
A Healdsburg man died in the hospital Sunday after he was hit by a car Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
HEALDSBURG, CA — A bicyclist who was struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday, Aug. 15, has been identified as Gary Begley, 61, of Healdsburg. Begley died early Sunday morning at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, California Highway Patrol Officer David deRutte said.
The CHP responded around 6 p.m. Thursday to the collision between a bicycle and vehicle on Westside Road near West Dry Creek Road in unincorporated Sonoma County near Healdsburg.
The CHP is asking anyone with information about the collision to call 707-588-1400.
