Healdsburg School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Healdsburg is August 21. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Healdsburg School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/9: No School for Students (Staff Development Day)

• 11/10: No School (Veterans’ Day)
• 11/13 0 11/17: Elementary Minimum Days (K-5 Parent Conferences)
• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Day Break)

December

• 12/19 - 12/21: Secondary Minimum Days (Final Exams)
• 12/21: Minimum Day
• 12/22: Alternative Teacher Workday
• 12/25 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/8: No School for Students (Staff Development Day)
• 1/9: School Resumes
