"His Adaptive Leadership Has Helped Many": Healdsburg Hero

HEALDSBURG, CA— When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This one comes from Healdsburg resident George Lee Lawson, who nominated Mark Themig.

Hero's job: Community Services Director for City of Healdsburg

Reason for recognition: "His adaptive leadership during fires and the Covid 19 crises has helped many many families by providing temporary housing, meals, childcare and comfort."

One thing to know: "He is an inspiration to us all in how we can respond to difficult times with caring and dedicated action."
