Kincade Fire: County Hosting Community Meeting In Geyserville

The meeting is for property owners who suffered damaged or destroyed property from the Kincade Fire.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Sonoma County officials are holding a community meeting Saturday in Geyserville for property owners who suffered damaged or destroyed property from the Kincade Fire.

Officials will present information on property cleanup, permits for rebuilding, temporary structures, tree removal, tax assessment, and assistance reviewing insurance policies and coverage and navigating the insurance claim process.

The Kincade Fire burned 77,758 acres between Oct. 23 and Nov. 6.

It destroyed 374 structures, 174 of them residential and damaged 60 structures, 35 of them residential.

The meeting is at 10 a.m. at the Alexander Valley Community Hall at 5512 state Highway 128.
