Man of La Mancha – Don Quixote Rides Once More

North Bay Stage Company opens this classic, timeless Broadway Musical Classic at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts July 21st through Aug 6th.
Winner of five Tony Awards including Best Musical, Man of La Mancha retells the timeless tale of Miguel Cervantes’ Don Quixote as a play within a play. Cervantes re-enacts his story of the mad knight, a dying old man who lives in a world of his imagination as he awaits his hearing in the Spanish Inquisition.
The show features a treasure trove of some of the greatest songs to come out of Broadway, including Dulcinea,” “I’m Only Thinking of Him,” “I Really Like Him” and the anthemic “The Impossible Dream.” Man of La Mancha is a remarkable show and one of the great theatre works of our time. New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, and The Outer Critics Circle Award for Production.
Man of La Mancha will feature Pedro Rodelas as Don Quixote, and a talented cast that includes; Audie Foote,
Ayrick Broin, Bill Stone, Bonnie Cullen, Bret Palmer, David Ruggiero, Debi Stone, Deborah Rosengaus, Kathleen Escude, Nina Leke, Paul MacKinnon, Paula Samonte, Perry Aliado, Rick Rader, Ross Hagee, Susan
Markcity, and Whitney Lawson.
Directed by Les Pfutzenreuter with crew including Phyllis Bluestein, Stage management by Ayrick Broin, and costumes by Kathy Katz. *At time of posting the role of Aldonza will be played by; Deborah Rosengaus on July 21, 22, 28, 29 and Paula Samonte on July 23, 27, 30. Actor playing the role of Aldonza on Aug 3, 4, 5, 6 will be Deborah Rosengaus.

Doors open half hour before the show at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts – Carston Cabaret. Concessions (available before and during the show) will feature several food items related to the production.
