Windsor Man Identified In Fatal Cloverdale Motorcycle Crash

The fatal incident happened on Dry Creek Road north of Dutcher Creek Road.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A Windsor man died Wednesday when his motorcycle went off a Sonoma County roadway, the California Highway Patrol said.

The fatal incident was reported just after 5 p.m. on Dry Creek Road, north of Dutcher Creek Road, in Cloverdale, CHP Officer David deRutte said.

Emergency medical personnel with the Cloverdale Fire Department and Bell’s Ambulance responded and pronounced the rider dead on arrival.

The motorcyclist was identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office as Andrew Kohlmann, 20, of Windsor.

"Preliminary investigation indicates the Suzuki motorcycle was traveling northbound on Dry Creek Road," deRutte said. "For unknown reasons at this time, the Suzuki ran off the roadway to the right and collided with a mailbox and street sign."
