Retro-Cool Crooner Chris Isaak Kicks Off Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series on July 8
In its 27th year, Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series presented by Montgomery Village features music and wine all summer long.
Retro-cool crooner Chris Isaak, with his distinctively seductive voice and super-suave style, kicks off the Rodney Strong Summer Concert Series presented by Montgomery Village on Saturday, July 8.
In its 27th year, the series features four summer-time concerts, award-winning wines and local food purveyors at the scenic Concert Green & Terrace setting at Rodney Strong Vineyards.
With a career spanning more than three decades, Isaak has released nine albums, 12 singles, been nominated for two Grammy awards, acted in several motion pictures and starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series.

His legendary shows with his longtime band Silvertone have entertained tens of thousands of fans. Even his signature pompadour hair has its own fan club.
To what does he attribute the longevity of his career? "You know, I've never tried to jump on a trend, and I've never had to jump off of one," he says. "I try to do what feels right for each song. So I never have to go, ‘Well no more disco for me.’”

Special guest and Bay Area favorite, Wendy DeWitt opens the July 8 show. De Witt, a soul-fueled vocalist and pianist, has earned her reputation as the “Queen of Boogie Woogie.”
Surrounded by acres of scenic vineyards, concert-goers are treated to intimate, unforgettable musical performances in a picturesque, summertime setting. Rodney Strong wines, non-alcoholic beverages and an array of delectable fare will be available.
More concerts in the series include Kenny Loggins on July 23; Chris Botti on August 27; and Kool & The Gang on September 9.

Rodney Strong Vineyards is located at 11455 Old Redwood Highway, off Highway 101 just south of the town of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. The winery is one hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
