Windstorm Sparks Grass Fire East of Cloverdale

Firefighters from Sonoma and Napa counties are battling a 100-acre grass fire burning east of Cloverdale near the Geysers GeoThermal Plant.

The fire, the second in the area to be triggered by Thursday night's windy weather, is 10 percent contained according to Cal Fire.

It's a difficult one to attack as it's located in steep terrain near the power plants. A fallen tree is blocking an access road, and power lines are reportedly down.
 
No structures are currently threatened.
