Belmont Village Senior Living Burbank Raised $620 for the Alzheimer’s Association
Fundraising to continue until November 5

Belmont Village Senior Living Burbank held a 12-hour bike-a-thon called the Bike to End Alzheimer’s Fundraiser using stationary bikes to symbolize the challenging journey those with the disease and their caregivers face every day. Participants rode for 15 minute increments for a minimum donation of $10. The Burbank team, including Marcia Lappin, Alma Velasco, Michelle Sucillon, Lolita Mendoza, Matt Petrie and Grace Jones (pictured l-r), raised $620 toward the company’s overall donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. The community will continue to raise funds until the November 5 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Los Angeles.
All 24 Belmont Village communities in the U.S. took part in the fundraiser with a company-wide total of $18K raised. 100% proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. To learn more about Belmont Village’s fundraising efforts or to donate, visit belmontvillage.com/donatealz.
