Dana Point Happy to be Singing the Blues

Information about the upcoming Doheny Blues Festival May 18 and 19 in Dana Point.

Dana Point is proud to announce the 22nd annual legendary Doheny Blues Festival this May 18 and 19. The picturesque grassy field of Sea Terrace Park is now its home, after the wildly successful venue change last year. A mile of meandering walkways, native landscapes, picnicking and bench seating areas and ocean view overlooks complete the outdoor concert experience. Sea Terrace Park is conveniently located on the corner of PCH and Niguel Road, across from the Ritz-Carlton Resort. Salt Creek Beach parking lot just across PCH from the festival provides plenty of easy access parking.

The live music experience features 3 stages of amazing blues for your unending entertainment. The Doheny stage is the largest of the three, featuring the headliners. VIP and Gold ticket holders will enjoy their private reserved area at the Doheny stage from which they can relax and enjoy the performances. At the opposite end of the park is the PCH Stage. The Back Porch stage is the most intimate of the three stages, dubbed the “living room of the festival.” It will feature acoustic performances and story telling by various artists.

And of course there is always great food and craft beer tasting to keep you fed and happy without ever leaving the park. The International Food Court will tempt your palate with a wide variety of tasty choices from BB Ribs to Cajun Sausage. The non meat eaters can feast too on vegetarian pitas. 50+ different “storefronts” will be sprinkled throughout Sea Terrace Park offering hand-crafted art, hats and other merchandise to take home. Of course, don’t forget to stop by the Official Merchandise Booth and pick up your official 2019 Doheny Blues Festival souvenirs. But get there early or it will almost certainly sell out.
