The Lake Forest Garden Club (LFGC) has been committed towards the Penny Pines Reforestation and Conservation Program for years. The funds for Penny Pines are used for preparation of plantation sites, planting seedlings grown in Forest Service Nurseries, maintaining existing tree stands, improving wildlife habitat, or replanting burnt or otherwise damaged forests in conjunction with federal funds.

The LFGC has set a goal to collect $5,000.00 for Penny Pines.
